Might have something to do with everyone but Garcia's people saying they really want to make this fight, including Golden Boy. And Matthysse being the mandatory for like 8 months now without getting a shot. There isn't any doubt that Matthysse wants the fight, he hasn't stopped talking about it since last year.

If the fight doesn't happen (I nearly 100% think it will) then there's only two reasons: Garcia's people didn't want it, or Haymon didn't want it. I'd say the blame should go on Haymon if it doesn't happen.

Interesting. I have this theory, and I have a few guys in NASA working on the mathematical details but it would seem that Danny Garcia is scared ****less of getting in the same ring with Lucas. Several reports claim that Danny finds the idea of getting punched in the head until losing consciousness … lets say… unappealing.
