WBC already said Danny will be stripped if he doesn't fight Matthysse next. Lucas would become the real WBC champ and Danny would only retain the WBA belt
So Matthysse vs Garcia is not going to happen after all...

example of letting your imagination get the best of you^^^^The words that aren’t spoken are what tells the story here. Matthysse wants to fight, he’s been asking for this fight for well over a year. GBP clearly want the fight too, that was obvious after the Peterson fight. Al Haymon, for the same reasons as GBP, wants the fight too. A fight means a ton of money and even if Danny loses he’s not out of the boxing picture. If Matthysse wins, he has the guy everyone’s talking about, yet one single loss in young Danny Garcia’s record wont end his career. He gets Matthysse for another six years or so, and Danny still has a long way to go. The only one that loses here if the fight happens is Garcia. Few will remember a guy being a b1itch and ducking a fight, but that one loss stays with him forever.
Then there’s that matter of getting KOed. Danny doesn’t want that any
more than any other human wants it. How would you feel if YOU had to fight Matthysse on Sept 7th? Would you look forward to getting punched in the head with such force that you’ll collapse unconscious to the floor? You’re thinking they are boxers, they are used to that, but no. Boxers are still human, and Danny has never been KO nor does he look forward to it, and as of right now, having seen the Peterson fight first hand, Danny feels the same way most of us non-blind people see, that there’s no way he avoids getting KO.

That's good news. Do you have a link source for that? If that's the case then we just might see this fight after all. Getting stripped of the WBC may be too humiliating. Considering that he talks and dresses like a fruitty duche I wouldnt be surprised if he gives up the belt, but it just might be motivation enough to get in that ring.
Keeping my fingers crossed here. I really want to see this fight.
Jajaja! You talk about being a man and you're a fan of that spoiled brat Danny? That's rich. Dont worry, looks as if your boy is ducking this one, and if he doesnt that's ok too, Lucas wont beat the **** out of him for several rounds, he'll probably just drop him before the 6th, doing little permanent damage.

It seems said said they would issue an order in January but there's no mention of any order being actually issued. Lets hope this doesnt turn into another Cahvez Jr. vs Martinez sopa opera. Chavez managed to duck Maravilla for years.

Relax, De La Hoya was saying that Matthyse can be one of the greatest from Argentina if he continues on the same path and at 140 there are a lot of great matchups for him and eventually he can move to 147 and face the likes of Maidana and Mayweather. I think the fight is going to happen. We''ll see.Comment

#1, Al Haymon calls the shots. Not Danny, not Angel, not Lucas, not Schaefer, and certainly not Oscar.
#2, the WBC and the WBA means sh_t. Getting stripped by the WBC is far from shameful and holding the WBA means absolutely nothing as well.Comment

A thoughtful and insightful view on human nature I agree completely because Danny knows he would have had his hands full with Pederson let alone seeing matthyse obliterate him from his senses that quicklyThe words that aren’t spoken are what tells the story here.
