How anyone can get that conclusion after that interview? He is talking about Mathysse, praising him and talking about his upside. He is talking about his future and what can happen if he goes to 147. He is not saying that he wont fight against Garcia. They know they need that undisputed champion from 140 to go and challenge fighters at 147.

I doubt it. Hatton was once p4p #5. Not bad for a bum ey? Well let's see, all Garcia needs to do is beat a HOF fighter, own a division for 4 or 5 years, win 4 world titles over 2 weight classes and then get himself into a position to challenge the worlds very best. Garcia right now holds a win over khan, and that's about it! I think Garcia also won his title against morales, who himself was a bit embarrassed to call himself a 4 weight world champ after being given the WBC title.
