Adonis isn't a declining plodder like Cloud or head case like Pascal, who hurt the hell out of Hopkins by the way. Since 2009 Hopkins fought Enrique Ornelus Roy Jones, Chad Dawson (2x) Pascal (2x) and Cloud. He quit in Dawson I, lost clearly in Dawson 2. Was close with Pascal. Cloud was damaged & limited and Ornelus was limited.

Trust me, Adonis will beat the piss out of Bhop. He's fast, athletic, dangerous and confident. Hopkins always looks for guys that are either limited or lacking something mentally. And it didn't even work with Dawson, he is fragile mentally. He won't find any of those weaknesses with Adonis, therefore he will NOT fight him.

Stevenson isn't going to land cleanly on Hopkins like he did with Dawson.

But he's strong enough that even some lighter blows could take the steam out of Hopkins and slow him down or weaken him in the later rounds.

Hard fight for both, could go either way.

Props for him still fighting at this age and beating younger guys.. but its what he's done throughout his career..

He wouldn't dare fight a ward because ward is not made for him..

Its true though. Hopkins ducked Dawson for quite some time and then suddenly he resurfaces from whatever planet he was on (since he's an Alien now) when Pascal wins the title and jumps at the chance to fight him.

He only fought Dawson when there was nowhere else to go and even then he tried to get out of it in the first fight....LOL.

Dawson had like three fans at the time and Dawson had rematches he was stuck in. and to Hopkins credit he obviously fought Dawson twice so the fact is Hopkins has always fought the top guys regardless of styles.

Stevenson is the lineal 175 champ. Hopkins is creeping up on 49 years of age. For anyone to suggest Hopkins would be cherry picking or whatever thats just plain laughable.
