Anyone with any sense can see he had a serious injury. No sane person would continue with that type of injury. That **** was worse than Pac vs Margarito.

Angulo fought a hell of a fight. He dropped Lara twice, and was going for the body. Great body shots.

          But he did quit.

          There is no denying that.
I am sure from pain that none of us can even comprehend, people tend to forget Ali has quit before as well.

As simply a fan and not a boxer, I won't step across the line of criticizing a fighter for quitting due to in-ring injuries, regardless of how bad I think it is. Angulo shouldn't lose any sleep cuz he gave his all, shit just happens.

He didn’t want to come out to fight Joe Frazier in the 15th, Joe Frazier was the one who wanted to come out but his trainer stopped the fight. Should have been Joe’s win. Health always comes first

my best guess is, he didn't just decide that he had had enough after taking punishment for however many rounds it went—but when Lara caught him with that shot on the eye, he must have felt some kind of stinging pain searing enough to force him to stop fighting. You saw how that eye after being pretty fine, just ballooned up from one punch. That was BAD, and it must have been some kind of instantaneous pain that was too much to handle while getting hit by a guy with decent power like Lara. I don't even think he had time to process the decision to quit, I think he just realized that he wasn't going to be able to fight in that condition

Ali had walked back to his own corner after the 14th and instructed Dundee to cut his gloves off. Ali later said that "Frazier quit just before I did. I didn’t think I could fight any more.

This is what Ali said, if you guys get on Angulo or Oritz or whoever for quitting the at least be fair about, also hate the world greatest sports figure of all time.
