Reason's Why Wladimir Klitschko Is Not An ATG

Wlad is a great athlete and a great current HW champ but an ATG? Definitely not.

To be an ATG you must beat somebody of the same standing. Wlad hasn't beat any Elite/HOF level fighters.

You cant dominate a weak division and earn ATG status by default.

You dont't earn ATG status by winning fantasy h2h match-ups.

Mental weakness and the inability hold up under pressure.

No inside fighting ability and minimal use of combinations.

3 knock outs to very average fighters.

Fighting the worst opponents in the division in the late stages of his carrer.

    No standout/memorable moments.

Over emphasis on achievements rather than skill.

    .

A great fighter for his time and certainly a HOF but there's no way he is an ATG.

There is the opportunity to impove his legacy against the decent young HW's that are emerging but he will have to take big risks.

A fight with Pienata after Wach is another step down the legacy ladder.

Not sure, he has some pretty good wins, and has been dominant since his flaws were found. Normally, especially with heavyweights, your flaws get exploited, but his ability to adjust his fighting style to protect these things is very impressive.

I half agree with you, but the other half thinks he probably has a legit shot if he can continue his career for another year or two.

The only adjusting Wlad ever seems to make is how much he clinches.
It's always the same 1-2, jab grab

You don't become an atg by always having the ref that doesn't care about your bull**** clinching/holding

It's clear what you're agenda is here, you even switched to an alt to do it, so there's not much point discussing this with you anymore.

              1. Weak resume, chooses weak opponents like Mormeck and Pianeta in what is already a very poor division.
              2. Constantly fouls by holding and leaning to prevent his usually smaller opponents mounting any offence which is illegal.
              3. Fights scared, he can have a dead man in front of him and will still carry him for 4 more rounds before attempting to stop him.
              4. Offers ridiculous contracts that delay or prevent fights from happening.
              5. Made lame excuses for his losses, he claimed he was drugged in the Brewster fight but physical and blood tests showed nothing.
              6. His brother helped him "clean out" the division not such a big achievement when you have help.

Pretty much sums up his standing in such an abject era.

                  1. Fighters are ducking him
                  2. Greatly exaggerated. How many times did Wladimir clinch against David Haye?
                  3. Is effective: breaks down opposition and scores the KO.
                  4. Opposition make unrealistic demands, a la David Haye.
                  5. Later admitted that he gassed, due to high punch output.
                  6. Hardly his fault that his brother is a professional boxer in the same weight class. Understandable that they don't want to fight each other. What else can he do?

OP and the haters will miss Wladimir when he retires. They unwilling to support a fighter who is so dominante and effective, and who has crushed/embarrassed some of their favorite fighters.
