Prov won by KO in the 2nd round imo

The ref ruled it a slip even though Bradley was busy doing the chicken dance.

I like this match up. I would to go with Alvarado by decision in this fight. If Alvarado stands in front of Provodnikov and trades shots with him Alvarado gets KO. I think Alvarado boxes his a** off if this fight happens. This fight has FOTY written all over it. I hope Arum makes this fight.

I think Alvarado, having seen the Bradley fight, will manage a well earned but maybe close UD by stubbornly clinging to a boxing gameplan and relying on his good chin in a pinch.

Provodnikov KO 9 or 10 Alvarado would not entirely shock me either.

Any fight either of these guys are in will find an avid viewer here.

Alvarado is injured and the reason why he couldn't fight Pac in October or Nov.

Pretty sure that was a preemptive excuse only mentioned by Bob Arum so he'd have an excuse to make Pacquiao-Rios. I haven't heard Alvarado mention the severity of his hand injury, but I may be wrong.

Everything appears to be agreed upon on Provodnikov's side. Just waiting on Mike Alvarado to agree.

That sounds about right. Alvarado does not have the same ring as Rios, esp after fight 2 where we saw his sprinting speed!

No he won't do that. He'll "box" Provodnikov in his running man style and if Ruslan doesn't use more intelligence he'll lose. Can't just follow Mike around letting him pot shot you like he did against Bradley. If they stand on slug i think Ruslan wins it like you.
