    BoxingScene.com has been advised that hard-puncher Ruslan Provodnikov (22-2, 15KOs) has agreed to all the terms for an HBO televised headliner against WBO interim-champion Mike Alvarado (34-1, 23KOs), according to Provodnikov's promoter Artie Pelullo of Banner Promotions. The fight would take place on October 19th in Alvarado's hometown of Denver.

    There were some details that had be worked out on Provodnikov's end, but everything has now been worked out. Pelullo is waiting for Top Rank to inform him that Alvarado has agreed to his end of the deal.

            I want to guess it's at 140 for Mike's title... but might be 147 since Ruslan said he's had trouble making 140

                So bob lied about alvarados hand being injured. The fight is in denver thats a nice advantage for mike especially if it goes to the cards and you never know it just might nobody thought rios/alvarado II would go the distance. Looking forward to this one, great ****ing fight!

                  yeah that's what i hate about top rank/arum...they always ****ed up the ppv undercards. nowadays, even undercards is a major decider for ppv buyers.

                  jmm-bradley + alvarado-provo...would've been a no-brainer for anyone who loves boxing to buy the ppv.
