Alvarado could have come in the best shape of his life and made weight easy, it wouldn't matter. Ruslan will break him and beat him.

I think Alvarado will win, not because I live in Colorado, but mostly because I don't see very much in Prov to be honest. I think Bradley fighting with a terrible gameplan made him look better than he actually is. Who knows, perhaps I'm underrating the guy and Alvarado did look like crap at the weigh in, so we'll see how it all plays out.

Top Rank usually pays their fighters good money. Remember the Rigo purse?

Then you have fighters like Mares under GB who get paid **** and he's a main event guy. I think vs Ponce he got paid like 300k?

He's with K2 and fought 4 times this year...three on HBO. They like the value he gives them
I think once his price goes up, we see him less

Alvarado will also receive a cut of ticket sales and Provodnikov next fight will be televised by HBO win or lose.
Good stuff. The event is sold out too.

Man i hope Alvarado rehydrated well, he looked horrible yesterday. I can't wait till he moves back up to 147. 140 is killing him.

Damn, making nice money. With the amount of entertainment value in this match-up, i can't even be mad at those purses. Provo having a guaranteed HBO date is pretty cool.

So who wants to bet on Prov?? I got 1 tril on Alvarado.

I was backing Alvarado for quite a while but the weigh in has made me unsure. Alvarado has the edge in skill and experience but Provodnikov is on a career high and looked comfortable at the weight. A fighter with momentum is always dangerous, I'm still not entirely sure how this will play out.

Alvarado won his last fight after losing the first time and he's fighting in his hometown, so I think he's the one with the most momentum.

Alavarado has the wind in his sails too but Provodnikov went toe-to-toe, and in the eyes of many observers, beat Timothy Bradley, a man who has names suc has Witter, Holt, Alexander and Marquez on his resume. I have never seen Bradley take such a beating in my life. Provodnikov has far more momentum than Alvarado but I think Alvarado deserves a break. He should have been the one fighting Pacquiao, this win may just be the ticket he needs.
