You must've missed the twelfth round, where Nonito literally ran around the ring, struggling to avoid being KOed by someone trying to avoid "harsh contact."

Lets not forget it wasn't that long back Darchinyan beat the **** out of Del Valle (a highly rated prospect) & gave Mares probably the toughest damn fight of his life (had him on the deck) & gave Moreno a good go.

Hes always written off. I don't think for one minute he beats Rigondeaux but to go on he isn't a credible opponent is ridiculous. Every fight the guy is written off and hes proven time & time again hes a handful for just about anybody and has destroyed many top level fighters over the years. Hell I'd go as far as saying he is Donaires best win.
He didn't.... Hes still the man though

Would be a crazy story if Vic won. But I'd say he has a better chance of writing the great American novel.

I don't discredit Rigo for being a good fighter. But to be considered in the top 10 P4P as many people on this site have, I can't put him there until he wins more against the best. He definitely might do that but the point is he hasn't yet.

Also Antonio Tarver and Buster Douglass beat two of the best in their prime but I wouldn't put them on any P4P list. The point is, beating a good fighter doesn't make u a good fighter. Beating several good fighter makes u a good fighter, which Rigo may do but hasn't yet.

Darchinyan is much like Paul Malinaggi...good enough but not great. Always beaten by good fast opponents. Look at Darchinyan vs. Chemito Moreno, Darch vs. Mares. Both matches were not even close. Rigo will eat Darch alive.

RIGO is the best in his class now...too good that you cannot pit him against anyone in his class who has a ghost of a chance of beating him. They will have for Rigo to get old. Donaire won't be able to turn the table in a rematch. Donaire is better off moving up to face Mares. Rigo-Mares would be great, but I am afraid the results will still be in favor of Rigo (in Rigo's weight class).

that's not fair to vic. he was the man at 112 till donaire came along, and unified 3 belts at 115. also very different fighters, really a weird comparison. he damn near beat mares too, that was very close, his closest loss above 115
