    As for your question:

Jeff Fenech: won title in 6 months and 7 fights, and beat prime HOFer Zaragoza
Saensak Muangsurin: won title in 3rd fight, beat about 5 or 6 champions in first 10 fights.
Veeraphol Sahaprom: beat champion in 4 fights.
Davey Moore: beat 1 loss (to Leonard) Ayub Kalule, fought Duran, beat Benitez etc
    Kazuta Ioka: unified the division
Muangchai Kittikasem: lost to Carbajal, but also beat Koo Chang and Chitlada
    Leon Spinks: beat Ali
    Sot Chitalada:
Hiroki Ioka etc etc and there are many more.

Lots of guys have done what Rigo has done, often earlier and more in many cases. Beating Donaire was great though. Amazing stuff. I'm not downplaying any of it.
I know you didn't say it was cherry picking!! That was directed to the person I originally commented on and was just validating it...it wasn't to you at all!!
All I'm am saying is Rigo has never had an easy road whereas now in days fighters get choosy about they fight and are pampered into being champs...hence the term paper champ!

Rigondeaux vs. Darchinyan is possible for Fall

This is not cherry picking on Rigo's part. He is at the top of the heap. Everyone else is deemed inferior to him. As long as he fights boxers in the Top 5 contender of his class, he is doing what is reasonable.

Don't hold your breath on Rigo-Mares. It's not likely to happen. The Top Rank-Golden Boy rivalry strikes again....

Pffft that would be another shutout .. Watching Rigo you can just tell he is completely seasoned, 12 fights don't mean anything Rigo is about 32 and has fought for years in Cuba dominating .. He ain't your original 12 fight fighter .. Idk who can beat this guy right now
Look how many guys PAC beat down yet JMM had his number. It's possible for a good fighter to have problems with a particular style. Not trying to take anything from Rigo, I would just like to see him compete more before I would give him such high praise as many have. How does he fare against the elite? One fight isn't enough to make a decision IMO.

Plus Im going against the grain and I think Mares beats him.

People are ignoring the fact that Vic's is Rigo's mandatory for their agenda........

Lol @ Rigo giving a beatdown to anybody. If Rigo fought a schoolboy he'd dance around him for 12 rounds avoiding any harsh contact

I doubt GBP will even make an offer i think Rigo as much as Arum **** on him and doesnt like him for derailing his cash cow (which he actually had to get put in writing in his contract to get the shot) he would show much more interest than Donaire ever did if they offered him even half of what they offered Donaire, but they wont they just want to seem like they want to fight him but be ****** if they actually did tbh.
