Didn't see where he said anything of the sort just said the obvious about Mayweather he's hard to find but not invincible.

Did I read the part right where it says Matthysse has been constantly talking about a fight with Maidana cause I thought like people said they weren't keen on it but would fight if they had to because they are professionals

"I think Canelo has a chance to win because he's stronger, bigger and hits hard".

This is why fighters who think like Maidana will never beat a Floyd Mayweather. It's not about how hard you hit (see Corrales vs Mayweather) or how much bigger you are (see Ray Leonard vs Lalonde). Good skill and technique trumps, size and power.

I wouldnt want to fight a friend either. Both said that they are pros and would fight each other if they had to, that they didnt have a problem with that, but you could tell by the voice and faces that they didnt look forward to it and would rather fight someone else.

Lucas doesn't talk about Maidana, he only does when asked about it. When it comes to Garcia tho, he makes sure Garcia knows he's after him.
