Seems like both Ward and Froch want an interim fight before facing each other, so all of this public back and forth in the past week and a half has been mostly pointless. Hope they both face someone worthwhile and then sit down and make a deal rather than just giving interviews about each other.

no matter what ward says, froch is his best fight.

this is nothing but posture. they're trying to make it appear as though ward doesn't need froch, which isn't true. the appearance of having other options would give them leverage.


nobody is buying it, though. ward doesn't have an opponent who can draw like froch, other than hopkins, who he apparently will not fight for some silly reason.

He only beat Froch by 100,000 viewers in the whole of the USA... Primetime vs non Primetime surely that'd make the Froch fight more popular?

when they tabbed froch-kessler 2 for ratings i think they combined the live feed numbers from the afternoon with the evening broadcast in primetime. that's what i remember hearing, anyway.
