This is pretty ridiculous tbh. Hasn't Povetkin had quite an extensive amateur career? He's hardly come out of nowhere has he?
The man must have been tested hundreds of times. Does he have the body of a man on PED's?
But I suppose with Wach having failed a test, Wlad is maybe understandably worried about the lengths his opponents have to go to to try to beat him.

why is it that every time a klitschko fight is being made there is always some sort of issue that threatens to cancel a fight?

Seems the issue lies more on Povetkin's people - they want this RUSADA to do the testing, but this shouldn't be enough to cancel the fight. Klitschko talks about there being multiple issues with the contract, and these are not revealed. Mysterious.

I wish this damn fight would just get made. I've wanted to see it for years now and I'm sick of waiting.

Apparently, they've reached a "verbal agreement" on the drug test issue.

Team Klitschko and Povetkin have agreed on the terms of the doping test

Russia's manager and promoter Vladimir Hryunov said that managed to solve one of the main contentious points in the organization of the fight holds the title of WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and "regular" super WBA heavyweight title Alexander Povetkin . The teams failed to agree on the conditions the doping test.
"We have reached a verbal agreement on a doping test boxers. Klitschko will check NADA, and Povetkin - RUSADA, - quotes Hryunova Sportbox.ru. - We will do everything possible to make this fight happen. For Klitschko, in addition to the financial side, it also has a fashion tremendous value. This fight is just as important for boxing in general, such as, at the time, was the cornerstone of the Dnieper electrification plan. People are waiting for a long time and much of this fight, the energy accumulated and it needs a way out. "

Some people hate that a couple of white men have ruled the heavyweight division for a decade.

I know it is so sad they have have been the perfect role model always carrying themselves with distinction- I know the heavyweight seen is not all that strong and they are class above all and they have proven it by beating all comers - but I remember the 80's when the heavyweight division was not that strong and debatable if it was any weaker than today until Tyson came along and cleaned it up - the Klitschko's I
