What happened to the proposed VADA solution?
I think Fury is going to fight one of these guys, his announcement is on June 8th, a day after negotiations are due to end between Klitschko and Povetkin.

Which side proposed VADA? I though Fury was fighting Haye anyway?

The VADA solution was mentioned in an article a while back, I think Hrynov suggested it (but not 100% on that).
On Fury-Haye, there is a lot of talk in the media but Fury's promoter said a week or two ago there was no fight in the works. Perhaps it will happen but I just find the June 8th date for the announcement of Fury's next opponent interesting since Klitschko-Povetkin negotiations end on June 7th.

You reference "the holding" but the reality of the matter is that in Germany, in Wlad's biggest fight, with his officials, the referee deducted a point from him for standing there while David Haye dove onto the ground unprovoked.
I don't recall them ever taking a point off an opponent, giving Wlad a 15 count on a knockdown or scoring rounds to him that he did not clearly win.

Had the feeling this fight wouldn't happen. It just seems fishy, everything. Very disappointing from a fan's perspective. IMO both Klitschko and Povetkin need this fight too. Who wants to see Wlad figting another stiff Wach or cruiser Mormeck? Who wants to see Povetkin keeping his paper belt? This is what kills boxing.

I believe Klitschko's team aren't too keen on fighting in someone else's backyard and possibly having a ref that won't allow the holding. If there's one thing we know about the Klitschko's it's they want everything their way, ring size, venue, rematch clauses, gloves, press conferences, they even request bigger purse percentages for mandatory fights that are standard 75/25 split to the champ. The Klitschko's are the worst fighters to negotiate with in the sport, its hilarious reading people criticise Povetkin and his team for a few requests when the bro's have been demanding their opponents sign far more ridiculous contracts.
