This is another Pacquiao-Mayweather as in the fight that'll never happen.

Povetkin has been dodging a Klitchko fight for something like 6 freaking years. I can't remember a more shameful act of hiding from a championship level fighter. Alexander, take your KO like a man so we can all move on with our lives.

Povetkin's promoter won the purse bid...

Doesn't that mean Wlad would have to drop his belt if they can't come to an agreement?

Especially if the Russian Jr champ would be pretty much a no hoper and knows it, having forfeited his shot several times

I don't think the testing is the biggest issue here that's why Klitschko'd team have sais it's multiple things. Hryunov already said NADA can do the testing and they just want samples sending to RUSADA, if one tests positive they would have to provide proof before anyone can be punished a clean fighter has no need to worry.

I believe Klitschko's team aren't too keen on fighting in someone else's backyard and possibly having a ref that won't allow the holding. If there's one thing we know about the Klitschko's it's they want everything their way, ring size, venue, rematch clauses, gloves, press conferences, they even request bigger purse percentages for mandatory fights that are standard 75/25 split to the champ. The Klitschko's are the worst fighters to negotiate with in the sport, its hilarious reading people criticise Povetkin and his team for a few requests when the bro's have been demanding their opponents sign far more ridiculous contracts.

If one testing agency flags a fighter but the other does not then what?

Both sides will want their agency to be 1a and other sides to be 1b.

Hyrunov is the most dishonest and crooked promoter in the entire sport right now and that is saying something with guys like Ohner, Sauerland and King still running around cheating people.
You mean like K2 do for every mandatory fight?

If the champion does not sign a bout contract within the required twenty
                      (20) day period after the bid award, or refuses otherwise to participate in the bout for the winning
promoter, he shall be considered in violation of these Rules, and may have his title vacated.

By my understanding the purse bid winner gets to choose almost everything and RUSADA are the recognised agency in the country the bout would take place. Klitschko is the one trying to bend the rules to suit him so should be stripped. Of course that would be unlikely because the greedy orgs will make more money by keeping Wlad as champ.
