Finally you're making some sense. I agree with this.

You do realize a ton of the money they use to establish their business and have credit lines is amassed by poor joes who shove their life savings into citibanks and chase etc
Actually...you're wrong. THey don't owe them anything as of right now...since all of the depositors are insured by FDIC (which I disagree with). I think the FDIC should be gotten rid of and everyone should look into the banks first before putting their money and trust into them.

As if bobby is looking out for pacs best interests, if so he would have done this long ago.

Arum is a lot of things, but it's no accident he's been around the top of the heap for this long.
Most of the fighters that are gold medalist. Their purses are high. Nothing new about it.

              (^^^Socialist-Collectivist sleazebag alert!!!)

No I think this thread has fizzled out. And it's largely about economics (i.e. taxes) since the thread title was about taxes....which is why I stepped in.

I don't think we can spin this one into a conversation about catchweights, random tests etc,.

P.S. I noticed that you didn't respond to my reply to your previous comment about "tax dodgers" (click here)

Arum cares about himself, but probably has a soft spot for Pac for several reasons. For one, his simple minded loyalty (minus the cash suitcase).

As for Macau, this is not checkers, you gotta think your moves through well in advance. For example, waiting for a hyped up 2x Chinese gold medalist to help launch the enterprise, that's what's kept Arum top ranked for longer than Golden Boy is alive.

Most? There's a bunch of gold medalists coming out every 4 years, and you had to go back to the 2 biggest stars the sport has ever had. And 31yr old windmill Shiming beat even their record numbers.
