Shimming is a hometown superstar before the debut though. Pac is Fillipino, he'll get the check just because of his name but I don't think it'll be any higher than his normal purses, especially considering his last two fights and his current opposition

Americas pretty much done tuning into to Pacquiao and Bob knows this.. He was robbed of a win from Bradley and EMBARRASSED by that KO loss to Marquez..

Now Arum is feeding him out to Asia as if China even cars less about Pacquiao.
China only cares about Pacquiao only when his new Nike line comes out, giving jobs to those Chinese who have to knit and sew his apparel.

Dude you've been on here flaming on the guy for years although he's never done or said anything to provoke it from you. Listen man the guy with one fight has paid more in taxes to the U.S. than you or I will pay in our entire lifetime. You don't have to like the guy to use common sense about it. He has no established business here so he can't benefit from write-off's. Meanwhile why do so many boxers/athletes live in florida and vegas? Funny how many non pacquaio fans have an opinion like they've bought a ppv or have attended one of his fights. The man earns between 20 and 28 million a fight..he's free to do as he pleases. He's contributed a hell of a lot more to the IRS than many other athletes who live here do. People are still going to watch no matter where he fights oh and for the record Asia has a hell of a lot more people than we do...Travolta has bought himself planes from just doing commercials there for 30 years..so has Schwarzenneger and many other celebrities. America is a great place to become a star but it's not the only viable place to earn a living from.

i dunno why ppl are surprised by the 40% tax rate. thats what most rich ppl are suppose to pay. none of them actually do tho, and that includes manny.

This of course is nonsense. What rich people are supposed to pay is 5% to 0% in income. Remember they're the ones who grow the economy, putting up their capital into businesses, investments, even small business entrepreneurs benefit from their money when they go get a loan at teh bank.


Embrace Free Market Capitalism and repudiate your high income tax for the rich sentiment.
