I know what he means but that "no technique punch" makes his opponents look ******ed as it comes from nowhere and they are powerless and don't see it coming given it is not strong and wont knock anyone out but looks great and he doesn't always really use it but i know what he means.

morales is talking as if he's only seen a aging mayweather fight (a 36 year old version) thats how i know morales doesn't know what he's talking about. look up the gatti fights. the judah, the coralas fights (against corales when he leaped in it was a solid hook with power) a slapper?

even today he hardly throws any slaps. he's a pin point puncher. morales is still punch drunk off the effects from that rican left hook.

^This is clearly coming from a man who is punch drunk.

Floyd sometimes throws wide, looping punches but his speed allows him to get away with it. Sometimes he throws straight punches but he is not above criticism for getting sloppy sometimes.

Well Garcia obviously scrambled his brains.. Mayweather is nothing but techinique at the highest level. He does make a great assessment of how Canelo looks for openings instead of trying to punch his way in to find one. Also an important note that Mayweather did not look his best last time at the weight against Cotto. I thought he beat De La Hoya easily without any dispute, but Cotto seemed to frustrate Mayweather then anyone seen before.

I do agree that Cotto gave him the most trouble since Castillo, but I thought the Mayweather-DLH fight was a close fight. I had it 116-112 for Mayweather. DLH abandoned the jab, and that's why he lost IMO
