Guys they were all champs at the same time...lol Did you forget??? James and Roy could have fought Calzage at any time. they chose not to. a prime Calzage was throwing 75-100 punches a round. they didn't want nothing to do with that man. Calzage won his WBO Title in '97 and every fighter since 97 had a winnig record no pushovers. He only really became famous over here in the US after beating up and basically ending the career of Jeff Lacy in 2004. Joe is by far among the top 10 best boxers I've ever had the pleasure to watch.

Joe should make a comeback! Say he did and he beat Froch then lost a decision to Ward, he would still get mad props. IMO it would give him way more respect than he has.

Calzaghe would have beat Froch but Froch has the better resume.

Calzaghe needs to pipe down - he could have fought Froch if he wanted to but didn't. You're retired mate, you've had your chance.

Joe stoping old man Hopkin is greater then anything that Froch have ever done. Yes I said stopped because Hopkins was on the verge of being stopped due to exhaustion but his Oscar moment saved him. Had not for that Joe would have TKO the old man. The old man went on to do great stuff after being beaten by Joe.

He beat a young undefeated Kessler like two fights before he retired. and If he came back now after a 5 Year layoff he would SCHOOL Froch. He won his Title in 1997 nobody wanted to fight him cause he was that nice. (Kind of like what ward is going thru now.) He was even Roy Jones' mandatory at one time and instead Roy started jumpin up in weight instead of facing him. Calzage is one of the all-time greats. do some research watch some of his fights. he was a beast in the ring. I hope he comeback and shut a few mouths up.
Well said - I could'nt agree more and Calzaghes win over Eubank was one of the best fights I've seenm (would Froch of beating Eubank I doubt it) - Joe is the best Super Middleweight period - he beat a prime Kessler,Froch could'nt beat a Kessler on the slided and his win last week is good but Kessler is way past his best - Froch had chance to be on equal Joe but he fell at the hurdle against Ward - I personally believe Joe would of found a way to beat Ward it's just what Joe does he adapts in the ring I've seen time and time again in the ring.

Yet Calzaghe actually moved up in weight to fight Hopkin's...

I would love to know which people have decided this - dillusional Froch fans probably.

                      Calzaghe would've destroyed Froch.
