    Not at all IMO.

Looks in pretty damn good shape if you ask me.

Not surprised people saying he's drained though.

    What about you?

that's bad news. alvarez looked obviously drained to my eyes. he was making 154, and then putting on the lbs to get to 170 in 30 hours or so. that's not easy at all on your body. now he's got that additional two lbs to shed, when his body is already compromised at the regular 154.

i won't go ahead and say that alvarez won't be healthy tomorrow, as he's a young man and he's been at 154 for a while now, but the signs point to the 2 lbs being significant.

gonna drop my floyd decision bet at the sports book here at the MGM in a few.
No doubt the Mayweathers know boxing as well as anybody. They knew what they were doing with the catchweight. Anybody that thinks it will have ZERO impact on his performance whatsoever is fooling themselves. The question is just more of how much.

I agree honestly, he looks like he's in great shape. I saw some call him a skeleton, not what I saw at all.

2 part question, what do you think he'll rehydrate to and what you think he SHOULD rehydrate to to have the best chance at beating Mayweather?

I've seen some say get as big as he can and bully Floyd. Not the way I would approach it, I think at 165-167 he'll be able to retain his mobility and speed, not mention his stamina, which looked worse against Trout when he weighed his most, not coincidental IMO.

I think he will rehydrate to 165 and will do that.

I agree whole heartedly with your assesment.

Canelo usally rehydrates to around 165-166 and when he did it with Trout he looked sluggish.

I think his team will be looking to get to around 165.

A lot of fighters have. Hell, Judah had one of the best 4 rounds on Floyd. However it's when Floyd figures them out that things change dramatically.
