Not sure if this was posted yet or not, but Canelo says the time off he took between fights is the reason for his stamina issues against Trout. What do you guys think?
I don't buy it. He's a very good fighter and I'm excited about him (no ****), but he's limited.

All you got to do is just look at how much his activity has decreased

In 2009 Canelo fought 7 times
In 2010 Canelo fought 5 times
In 2011 Canelo fought 4 times
In 2012 Canelo fought 2 times

When he stepped in the ring with Trout he hadnt fought in 7 months. I believe him. He used to be active all year round.

I'm in the middle. I almost believe him just because I don't recall there being an issue with stamina before his fight with Trout. I don't remember him really gassing against Mosley or anyone prior. Ehh, idk. Hopefully his stamina is in check come Sept. 14th!

            • Mayweather expected to win 90+ Millions in Canelo bout

Mayweather have a $40 million guarantee purse for the Canelo fight. According to forbes they are expecting 1.6 Million PPV sales at a minimum, wich in terms of $$ will amount to $105 million and $50 million of those would be for Mayweather. Thats not counting sponsors, and sales at the MGM.

This is some real money Mayweather is scoring here. Now I can understand why, he wasnt ok for the suppose purses they were offering him for the Pacquaio fight.

You don't add those 2. Basically it means he gets a 40m guarantee, and expected 10m upside. total 50m

                • The Pacquiao fight would have broke 2 mill.

The Mayweather- Pacquiao fight is universally recognized as the most demanded fight for almost all sport and fight fans.

It definitely would have a larger base than Oscar vs Floyd + the Filipino buys and more hype. Pacquiao is a risk and a threat to everybody if he can hurt you and finish you off. He hurt marquez several times in all their fights but marquez is too tough to go away, nobody knows if floyd can take pacquiao when he forces a firefight. He would have been Floyd's most dangerous fight.

It would have Broke 2 mil minimum and there's a very good chance it would have broken the record.

No way pac may would have broken 3 mil easy, this according to Forbes when they projected the fight. 250 mill in revenue. Oscar may had like 150 mill in revenue. It was the definition of a monster.
