S was Lucas v Peterson but that wasn't spoke of either after.
Anyway this fight will be a monster on Oscar v Floyd scale, which happens to be record, and I expect huge things. My phone exploded from casuals and hardcore about this fight the moment, moment, it was announced. This event will be massive!Comment

ThisThe fight should do 1.5 easily.
Mayweather single handily carried the PPV for Guerrero and it did 1 million without a lot of support from the Mexican audience. With the Mexican audience it could probably do about 1.8~1.9.
Hopefully they do a better job of promoting the fight this time.
The promotion for Mayweather-Ghost was pretty bad (though there was no hype to begin with)
all access was terrible, they should bring back Fight Camp 360Comment

If two pounds isnt anything then why ask for catchweight? Why not just go to 154? It does matterstop Floyd is the money man and Canelo weighed 153 last fight, he will be outweighed by 20 pounds on fight night if 22 year old kid cant lose 1 pound its bc he is not discipline, Bhop fought his whole career at 160 and when he fought Oscar he came in at 155lbs. 2 pounds isnt anythingComment

dancing with the stars was the hatton fight. floyd got momentum because of 24/7. but before that hed been on ppv three times already successfully.I doubt it. Canelo has yet to headline a PPV himself. For Oscar/Floyd, Oscar was already a PPV juggernaut and Floyd was already known in the United States because of Dancing with the Stars. The only people who know Canelo are boxing fans and Mexicans. It'll do 1.5-1.8+ million but it won't go past 2 million. Only Pac/Floyd had the aura of beating Oscar/Floyd because both were PPV juggernauts.Comment
