Anyway this fight will be a monster on Oscar v Floyd scale, which happens to be record, and I expect huge things. My phone exploded from casuals and hardcore about this fight the moment, moment, it was announced. This event will be massive!

Mayweather single handily carried the PPV for Guerrero and it did 1 million without a lot of support from the Mexican audience. With the Mexican audience it could probably do about 1.8~1.9.
Hopefully they do a better job of promoting the fight this time.
The promotion for Mayweather-Ghost was pretty bad (though there was no hype to begin with)
all access was terrible, they should bring back Fight Camp 360

Originally posted by Walter White View PostI doubt it. Canelo has yet to headline a PPV himself. For Oscar/Floyd, Oscar was already a PPV juggernaut and Floyd was already known in the United States because of Dancing with the Stars. The only people who know Canelo are boxing fans and Mexicans. It'll do 1.5-1.8+ million but it won't go past 2 million. Only Pac/Floyd had the aura of beating Oscar/Floyd because both were PPV juggernauts.
