Why not move up to 175 and fight Chad Dawson?
I get that people are rightfully harping on Floyd and crew for talking all that nonsense about not fighting at catchweights. But there are limits to what a person can do, and Floyd knows his limits. There is a big difference between fighting blown up 140lbers at 154 (Cotto, DeLaHoya) and fighting a true blue Junior middleweight. Floyd is fighting a true blue JnrMiddle, and he is doing it at only 2lbs below the limit. All in all, people have to admit this is a pretty fair deal for both guys. However, Floyd put his foot in his mouth with his comments regarding Pacquiao and catchweights. So it is only fair that his fans get a healthy dose of criticism for the terms of this fight.
Pacquaio refuses to do Olympic style drug testing because it weakens him. 3 years later he mandates Olympic style drug testing for all his future fights.
Mayweather refuses to fight at a catchweight because he wants his opponents to be comfortable. 3 years later he demands his opponent to fight him at a catchweight.
