Before the fight was signed, the haters claimed that Floyd was afraid of Alvarez. Now, you are claiming that Floyd is draining Alvarez. After Floyd whips his ass, you will complain that Alvarez was too inexperienced and Floyd refused to stand in the center of the ring and go toe-to-toe like a couple of rednecks fighting over which one gets to f.....k their cousin first.
When Floyd fought Oscar De La Hoya, Oscar dictated all the terms and even picked out Floyd's gloves for him and Floyd still beat his ass. Considering that, if Alvarez is half as good you clowns/haters claim he is, he won't have any problem beating Mayweather at 152.
Alvarez can enter the ring outweighing Floyd by 30 pounds, but you ****** ass haters want to ***** about a two pound catchweight. If you are griping now, I can only imagine what you will be doing after Floyd taxes his ass on September 14.Last edited by big_james10; 05-30-2013, 06:05 PM.Comment

Leonard Ellerbe seems to believe that 2 pounds is a HUGE deal, he said only fighters know what it feels like to be drained by that much. Before the fight was signed, the haters claimed that Floyd was afraid of Alvarez. You are right. He did say that. However, Alvarez said that the two pounds won't be a problem for him. However, that won't stop the haters from criticizing Floyd. If the fight was fought at 154, the haters would find something else to complain about.Comment

Oh and Cotto said that the two pounds won't be a problem for him, Dawson said that the 7 pounds wouldn't be a problem for him....the list goes on. Fighters will tell you they're fine regardless of their true state. That didn't stop people of your ilk from calling Pacquiao the "catch weight king"

According to Mayweather, Alvarez's team proposed the idea of fighting at152 pounds. That means that he won't have a problem making weight. He can come in at 154 if he is willing to forfeit one-third of his purse. He won't, because in spite of what gullible Pacquaio fans want to believe, boxers don't fight for the fans or the joy of combat. They fight for money and he wants to make all the money he can.Comment

Yes, and you can call Mayweather the catchweight prince if you want to. I don't care. If Mayweather had put a clause in the contract saying that thefigh could be contracted t 154, but Alvarez could only rehydrate to 164 overnight, you would be complaining about that too.Oh and Cotto said that the two pounds won't be a problem for him, Dawson said that the 7 pounds wouldn't be a problem for him....the list goes on. People like you want Mayweather to give his opponent all the advantages -- weight advantage, small ring, larger gloves and a toe-to-toe fight in the center of the ring. If he refuses, you crticicize him. If he did it and lost, because of those disadvantages, you will call him a fraud and various other names to justify your ignorant hate.Comment

I don't know and don't care. As I have stated, if Alvarez is as good as Floyd's critics claim, he will be able to defeat Floyd easily at 152 pounds. However, if Alvarez can only win if: the fight is contested at 154, he enters the ring outweighing Floyd by 20 or 25 pounds and Floyd stands in the center of the ring and slugs it out with him, then Alvarez is nowhere near as good as his fans and Floyd's haters claim.Comment
