CW sucks, as did Pac but I never called him CW king and actually gave credit for that fight, but who cares this event will be bigger than any fight in recent memory. That's what I care about...the sport.

I have to give Floyd credit. I didn't think there was any chance he would take this fight due to fear of a robbery due to Canelos popularity.

I still tho, can't understand why Canelo Nd GBP would make this fight right now. Floyd said he still has 5 fights left. Why wouldn't Canelo fight 2 more fights to get a little more experience, then make the fight.

I thought he lost to Trout and the show time announcers had Canelo only winning by a point. The judges give him too many rounds in his fights. Too bad GBP cant see this and they bought into his hype. No doubt Canelo is good but hes not ready for the best of the best. I think it's too early and Floyd embarrasses him. (And no his size and power won't be a factor since Canelo hasn't had a KO in a while, and couldn't KO a way smaller Matt Hatton.

what other opponent has floyd put at a disadvantage? also, check my question about whether this 152 lb weight limit gives floyd the ability to use 8oz gloves, since fights @ 154 lbs+ require 10oz gloves. remember, he begged the commission to allow him to use 8oz gloves against cotto, but they strictly prohibit it. this could be the reason why the catchweight, if that's the case.

This is how the fight is gonna go. Saul will pressure Floyd for the 2,3 rounds. Floyd will warm up and start boxing hitting Saul with clean pot shots. Saul will try to swarm Floyd giving fans something to cheer about but its fruitless. Floyd does circles around Saul. In the end ud for Floyd.

Word is per ESPN is that CANELO asked for the 152lb catchweight to entice/assure Mayweather will take the fight...... makes sense to me, Canelo don't wanna miss out on that HUGE payday......
