Now, Canelo got a no cap on what he can weigh the night of the fight, y'know, that's a pretty big concession from Floyd, IMO #boxing

I bet you've had a fun few weeks pretending to be mexican after the world spent months laughing at Pac and Donaire's futility.

I don't care if your fighting Sugar Ray Robinson, if hes 23 you don't ask for a catchweight when your over 30 unless your alil b*tch

While I'm not in favor of catchweights, I didn't agree with it when Manny did it and I don't agree with Floyd doing it, but to compare this with what Pac did to Cotto is not the same in that Cotto not only had a catchweight clause but had a rehydration clause as well, which meant Cotto was not allow to rehydrate over a specified weight. Pac put that same stipulation on De la hoya, Margarito, and Clottey. That's not the case with Canelo. He can rehydrate back to his Super-Middleweight size when he fights Floyd. And that's the big distinct difference when comparing the two catchweights.

I would like to have seen Floyd relinquish the 154lb title because he's not a 154 pounder. He should not fight Canelo. The guy is just too big. He's really a Middleweight. Although it's a bad idea to fight this Middleweight, my money is still on Floyd to win.
