Bad move Kareem you could have had Danny Garcia and Lucas Mathysse as well as a bunch of other top guys like Khan, Ortiz, Berto, Lopez, Maidana etc. terrible move IMO because now who you gonna face to bring you that $$? you wont get Manny because he only got a couple left and you wont be one of them, Alvarado? Rios? you really think a fight with them will get you as much as a fight with any of the guys I named? get real.. he made a terrible move, if anything he would have been better served going with Golden Boy and securing big money options from 140-154, no question.Comment

If your a fighter in the 140-154pd divisons golden boy promotions is the place to be, having said that top ranl was the company to offer karim a deal so he did what he hada do for his family and sign...Now he wont have as many options but dont kid yourself top rank is the most well recognized promotional entity being around for so many years.....there are still some interesting options such asa title fight at 140 vs mike alvarado which would be war, the winner of bradley vs marquez if hes able to get his name out there enuff, the winmer of pacquiao vs rios especially if pacquiao wins in case marquez or bradley still dont take the fight because u know karim will take it ina secons and so would mannys team because he wudnt ***** what so ever about money......when u fight at 140 its pretty much implied ur also a welterweight contender because of how class the weight difference is so karim can easily become a player if he gets the right fights an is able to make a statement......the kid has talent hes a natural athelete with speed, power, an natural fighting instinicts and can give almost anyone a problem so he does have plenty of chances to grow with top rank......hopefully the promotional wars can end soon so that us the fans wont have to continue dealing with being robbed of tremendous fights but at this point can only pray that day comesComment

he still has some options an also have to take into considerations hes still in the early phase of his career still tryna build his fan base, name recognition, an credentials.....he still has to earn a shots at the players in the divison but fights with guys like alvarado and rips arent out of the question an those guys have name recognition because of the 2 wars they had so hbo wud pay for em because of the recognition they have an karims natural talent.....fights with marquez an pacquiao may not come but bradley will still be around as will ruslan provodnikov.....clearly its not the endless options that golden boy has to offer but the rank gabe him the offer he made the neccessary move to provide for his family an top ranks the longest runming big name promotional company so lets see how the promotional war continues to play out i kno its not likely to end but we can stay optimistic....Comment

it depends if golden boy even made an offer cause if they didnt why wait around play games hes at the stage in his career where he needs a big company to back him....top rank still is a player in boxing they have hbo on lock which is a big enuff arena in which karim can make a name of himself.....clearly golden boy is on the rise with there endless supply of options in the divisons that matter lately but he can still make a name if he gets the right slots on hboComment
