BoxingScene.com has been advised that undefeated junior welteweight contender Karim Mayfield (17-0-1, 10KOs) has signed a promotional agreement with Top Rank. Mayfield was last seen in October, winning a ten round unanimous decision over Mauricio Herrera in an HBO televised fight. Mayfield is highly ranked by the WBA and the WBO. Top Rank continues to beef up their roster at 140, as they signed unbeaten champion Khabib Allakhverdiev earlier this year.
