      It would depend on how getting down to 160 would effect his performance. He should know his own body after all these years as a pro. If he thinks he will be strong at 160 maybe he will be. Dawson made the same promise but after the Ward fight he said he was drained.If Kessler can fight as well at 160 as he fought last Saturday I think he would ko the Martinez I saw last time out. Maybe Martinez had a bad night but old age seem to show last fight and I thought the Englishman beat him.

        =================
        The phrase 'he has not one ounce of excess fat on the body' would be appropriate to tack on Mikkel Kessler.

        Just look at the pictures of the absurd trained Viking warrior from Saturday night's mega fight against Carl Froch in London.

        Still, Kessler drop even further in weight, which will open the possibility of new and attractive opponents for the Danish boxer.

        It revealed Kessler in an interview with Ekstra Bladet just almost a month ago.

        - Do I have a natural super middleweight (maximum 76.2 kg, ed.)? Maybe. But it's about how I train and eat. There is nothing that prevents me from going further down in weight so I can box against the watchmen said Mikkel Kessler on that occasion and even pointed to a desire opponent.

        - Sergio Martinez! Him I might like to meet. He has a bold style, we'd be good to each other in the ring and the fight would appeal to both live spectators and television viewers, ruled Kessler about a potential meeting with the tremendously entertaining and just as boxes in terms of excellent Argentine.

        EXTRA brings today the names of eight boxers who are likely on the list of potential Kessler opponents if otherwise there are more games left in the Viking tank.

        It is the obvious names like Andre Ward and Carl Froch - and it is extremely exciting middleweight names mentioned Martínez, as Julio César Chávez and knockoutkongen Gennady Golovkin

          I wonder if Kessler can move down a division and be the same fighter?
          If he could, then Kessler Vs Martinez is an interesting fight for sure.

            If Kessler could somehow make 160 and be okay, which is crazy and doesn't sound at all possible, he'd **** Martinez up. We're not talking Darren Barker, Matthew Macklin, or Martin Murray here.

              If he can make the weight, then let's do it! A fit injury-free Martinez KO's him at 160; he's too slow to compete w/Sergio. lol.

                  We were just talking about this possible match the other day. Would be interesting if it happened.
