Kessler wants Martinez at MW

Danish newspaper ekstrabladet had an article today called "possible opponents for Kessler". Kessler is quoted that he would like to fight Martinez at MW, he likes his style and think they would make a very entertaining fight.

Seriously? Hasn't Kessler gone up as far as 175? After seeing what happened to Dawson I don't wanna see anyone else go down in weight unless they got the size for it. Which I dont think Kessler has.

According to Kessler he has no trouble making MW, in the article he says "its just a matter of what I eat and how I train". Peronally I think the only way he can make MW is if he drops pure muscle, or he will be seriously dehydrated before the fight. It could be a very interesting fight though!

Sometimes you can't take these guys' words man. Sometimes you gotta do an eye test and use your own judgement. Remember Dawson made 168 and looked fine at the weigh ins.

I agree and Kessler is a pretty big SMW with extremely low bodyfat% so it could be tricky.

Not really. That was a CW, and Kessler weighed in at 169.5. Not saying this is a good idea, but he started at SWW and you could see he was naturally smaller than Froch, who claims not to be a big SMW (I dont buy this)

I did not know this, thanks. But I still don't think its a good idea.

And Froch a small SMW? His lats alone weigh 100lbs.... each.
