Why is Andre "Hometown" Ward Reluctant to Face Froch in the UK?

This is some really desperate hating on Ward. Maybe if his fight with Froch was closer this would be warranted but its not. If you want to dog Ward about something, dog him about his level of activity, not that he should go to the hometown of a guy he clearly beat in a division he rules over.

Then, please mention a SMW that would pose Ward with a bigger challenge than facing Froch in the UK?
He doesn't "rule" the division. He hasn't faced a SMW in nearly two years, and in the meantime Froch has cleaned up the rest of the pretenders.

It would be nice if Ward moved up or faced a ****er from middle, but I can't get behind him having to fight Froch just because he's British.

I'd submit froch was able to dominate them, in part, because he had faced the best in Ward. Frankly, fighting those other fights is a "breeze" compared to fighting ward.
Froch is a damn good fighter, one of the top 8-10 p4p fighters IMO. But he is MILES away from ward. If they had fought at 160 instead of 168 (like chad coming down) I could see the point of a rematch.

this guy is so high on the p4p list, yet so under the radar, that maybe going to the uk and getting robbed would do wonders for his marketability...dudes like this dude have to do something out of the ordinary just to get media attention because just fighting style alone, ehhh, people would rather watch a pitcher's duel...lets face it man, andre ward is an acquired taste, even for hardcore fight fans....
even if he fought somebody as overmatched as manny pacquaio, a guy he could ko right now with a headbutt, at the negotiating table he'd have zero leverage....lol

The only thing that's ridiculous is Ward fans dismissing the fight because Ward has already beaten Froch once. He might be miles away from Ward, but what does that make the other contenders? 100's of miles?
Countless rematches have been made on a lot weaker ground than this one, so why should it be otherwise?
