Who needs who more? (Froch-Ward)

Ward needs froch for a big pay day. Froch doesn't need ward at all. Unless he wants to avenge his lose but really that fight wasn't entertaining. I don't think froch needs him. Just my opinion.

Froch doesn't need Ward at all.

Froch could fight Groves, Cleverly, Hopkins, possibly Kessler rematch and make a lot of money.

Who can Ward fight and make a lot of money with other than Froch?

That's why he wants the Froch fight so badly. He has no options.

Froch has plenty.

What big fight is out there for Ward?

He had the chance to fight Bute which would have been a pretty huge fight when Bute was still undefeated but he didn't take the fight and Froch took care of Bute.

Hopkins won't fight him but he's willing to fight Froch. Froch also has the potential of a 3rd fight with Kessler or a domestic fight with Cleverley or Groves which would all do big business.

Froch has more options, certainly

Is it not the point of boxing to knock off the king of the hill? The #1 fighter in your respective division? Lets not kid ourselves as to who needs who. If Froch wants to be "The Man" in his division then he needs to beat one fighter and one fighter alone.

Is boxing the only sport in the world where the second best boxer dont need to fight the top guy to prove himself? The fight wasn't entertanining so he won't fight Ward again and doesn't need him. What kind of loser mentality is that?

I'm pretty sure Froch has a big ego and wants to be the best. If Froch wants to be considered the best boxer in his divison then he NEEDS Ward. Andre Ward doesn't need Froch to prove he's the best cause he already took Froch to school.

Apparently you're the one kidding yourself.

Boxing is a business, first and foremost. It doesn't matter if you're the tenth rated fighter, if you entertain you get the pay-days and opportunities. The promoters make money by promoting entertaining fights that people will pay good money for. Andre Ward doesn't entertain, simples.

Froch doesn't need Ward for any other reason apart from 'legacy'. If he wants a nice looking resume, fight Ward again for a chance to redeem yourself. Otherwise, he can continue to fight the rest of the best at 168 and earn a nice living.

Ward needs Froch, I cannot understand how anyone else would think any different. It's so blatant that he's the one chasing and trying to force Froch to rematch him.
