Froch trained since boyhood to become a world champion and as a man, is now clever enough to know what to and what not to do. He knows that Ward is the better fighter, he knows if he fights him again there is a good chance of losing. He also knows that he holds 2 belts and Ward wants to fight, so Froch will make Ward bend to his demands.

Do not start a post with such a ****** response when you show such an inability to understand that this sport is a business. Your opinion is that he needs Ward, fact is, he said yesterday he doesn't.

It depends on how you look at it. Ward has a win over Froch and nobody argues that Ward was the clear winner. So nobody can claim Froch is as good or better than Ward until Froch beats Ward in a rematch. Froch needs Ward to fight him again before he can claim to be the best 168 pounder in the world. When it comes to making money Froch is very popular and a much bigger moneymaker than Ward. Ward needs Froch to make maximum money for a single fight. Froch can make big money with several different fighters. So Ward needs Froch for a real big single fight payday. Ward can live without Froch and still make good money fighting other fighters. I can't think of anyone Ward can fight that would make him as much money for one fight as he would get for fighting Froch in England. I would say Froch needs Ward more than Ward needs Froch. Ward will always have that clear win over Froch.

**** what he said in front of the camera, that's posturing and you know it. He strikes me as an Alpha Male and there is no way he is OK with a loss to Ward. I do believe he wants the fight at O2 and I agree the fight belongs on Froch'a side of the pond but he knows it, you know it, we ll know it. He needs and desires a shot at redemption.

Ward's been there done that. If Ward is hungry for a huge payday and taking a step back, then sure he could fight Froch. But Ward needs to head upward and onward not take a step back. Some people draw, some can't, but everyone knows who the better fighter is.
