There are a lot of great Boxing countries all over the world but excitement wise I think the UK is in a league of its own in terms of the fanfare and atmosphere they create. Just my opinion but fights like Ricky Hatton-Kostya Tszyu or Mayweather-Hatton, Calzaghe-Lacy, Calzaghe-Kessler, and obviously last night with Froch-Kessler that place was rocking man. Anyone else notice Wayne Rooney going nuts in the front row lol
IMO British Boxing fans create the best atmosphere @ fights

It's the culture over here.
Get behind your man, win, lose or draw keep chanting their name, create a great atmosphere and just have a good time. It's not like a soccer game, it's like any sporting event over here apart from snooker or some boring ****, even 1000 darts fan make a better atmosphere than 20000 Americans
We like to have a good time and show our support for our fighter, it's spirit, it's passion - how can you not like it? To truly understand what it's like, you have to be there. Watching/listening to it on TV just does not do it justice.Comment

Never been to a fight in the UK but do agree with you on this one. The army of fans Hatton had for the Mayweather fight was crazy, sounded as if the fight was in the UK the way the crowd was roaring.Comment
