People who think he weighs any more than 154 are ****** and people who think he doesn't weigh in on the same day because he doesn't want people knowing he weighs 160+ are even ******er. A) When Floyd fights at 154 he weighs in at 151, this is an indicator he can't go much higher than 151. B) The reason he doesn't want to weigh in on the same day is merely tactical, why let your opponent know he outweighs you by 14 pounds?

He also does it because he wants to be in control, he's a control freak.

Oscar used to do the same thing with his unofficial weigh in's and he's followed in his footsteps in that regard.

That said, he went on the unofficial scale against Ortiz, like previously mentioned.

Probably because of the morons and ******s who actually believe he comes to the ring at 160+ lbs.

lol tactical. "size doesn't win fights, skills do". I love the way Floyd homers stay away from this mantra now. but when you bring up Marquez......

After the Marquez fight, there was a thread saying "Mayweather was 160 lbs coming to the ring" of course without a shread of evidence or even a source and people seemed to run with it from there.

It's so abundantly clear that he's never been near 160 lbs.

Both times he's fought at Jr Middleweight has he weighed more than 151 lbs at the weigh in? I don't think he has.

2 fights ago, against Ortiz, he came to the ring at 150 lbs.

30 days out, he was 148 lbs for his last fight.

It doesn't take a genius to see that he's clearly a small Jr Middleweight and a solid WW. Absolutely not a big WW at all.

I think he weighed in at 151 so Im guessing that was his weight. Its not like he had to really cut to get there or he came way down to 151 to have a speed advantage. I think thats all he could get up to so thats how he weighed in and Im sure he was like that on fight night

I didn't even remember him weighing in on fight night against Ortiz, probably b/c I was at a fight party. But this to me only adds fuel to the fire for the fight needing to be at 154. If they can get a rehydration clause in the contract that says Canelo can't weigh more than 165 on fight night then the fight should be easy to make.

If not then why would Floyd fight Ortiz when Ortiz was 164 and why did he make the comment about Cotto saying he wants to fight guys at their most comfortable weight.

Marquez saying that means nothing really. He isn't a weight guessing expert is he
