Max wanted specifics after Ward had gone on and on about all the adjustments and improvements in defense he claimed Kessler had made. Ward stuttered for a minute and said "he's not getting hit as much." I laughed my ass off. I like Ward, I think he is the best fighter in the world, but it was clear he was trying to talk one guy up and another down and did a piss poor job at it.

You are reading **** into **** that ain't there.

You are delusional and doing mental gymnastics in order to make it ok in your head that Ward did in fact kick the **** out of Froch. And I understand. It must have been traumatic watching Andre easily control and toy with Carl like he was some kind of strange, bleeding, herky-jerky puppet on a string.

Go and have a few good NW-brewed micros w/Earl and drown your sorrows. You might find a sympathetic shoulder there.

        Keep calm and carry on.

I think he handle himself with class to be honest but you can see he doesn't like the way his career is panning out at the moment, yes he is the P4P number 2 fighter in the world but you would have thought he is behind Kessler and Froch with the way he doesn't get talked about. It's funny how we all had to be reminded that Ward actually beat both fighters that were facing off last night. The gulf between what he is making and what those two seem to be making doesn't sit well with the supposedly number 2 guy in the world of boxing.

Anyone know how HBO scored the fight? I think Ward handled himself with class during the post fight interview. But he definitely wanted to make sure everybody knows that he's the champion and Froch isn't. Which is fair enough I guess.

I think he's definitely looking for a payday.
