    Fights That Ended Careers

    Literally or figuratively.

    Jermaine Taylor against Kelly Pavlik. that ko loss pretty much ended his career as a marquee guy.

    Pavlik/Hopkins. Kelly was never the same after that ass whoopin

      Marquez - Katsidis Katsidis was never the same

      Marquez - Diaz I Diaz got his career ended in the first fight

          Oddly enough, I'd have to say Winky/Taylor. Not turning it up in the 12th round cost him big and he was never really in a big fight (do not bring up that brutal bhop fight) after that.

              never seen a fighter decline so dramatically after just one fight

              He went from invincible MW kingpin who terrifies Mayweather to a loser who got punked and humilliated by a handpicked nobody in his hometown

                      Those are some good ones. The cotto one is tough , he got personal revenge, but as a top guy he lost something that night.

                                      Do some of you even know what gatekeeper means? You can say Margs took something outta Cotto but ended his career? That's F'n absurd. Cotto whooped his ass the second go around.

                                      Anyway....Meldrick Taylor post Chavez Sr. Never the same. That was an actual career ender.
