Of course they would. They are paying for Froch-Kessler II and they showed Kessler against Calzaghe and Andrade as well.

But I do agree its high time Andre got on a plane and defended the consensus/TBRB #1 spot oversees. He has fought oversees before, but in order to silence the naysayers its time to defend in hostile territory.
Exactly! He cannot use the 'I have no passport' excuse any more, since he is in Britain for this fight.

The truth is, no one can make Ward fight elsewhere. He's the man and he'll do what he wants. Deal with it.

Excuses me if I'm wrong, but didn't he win his two belts off champions coming to the US? Was it fair if they said then 'I'm the man, come to UK/Denmark. Deal with it'? All great champions defend outside their country. That's why it's called world champion and not Oakland champion. Likeliness is that Ward will probably beat them again, but he needs to return the favour as a true champion would do. Plus he'd probably double, if not triple his highest purse.

          CLubberLang just said it above:
"Ward has to stop calling out the guys below him like GGG, JCC and Floyd and take some real chances or he is gonna end up like Chris John or someone."

While I enjoy being able to see Ward's fights in person, I agree he needs to go fight in enemy territory to silence his critics. Otherwise he'll be Calzaghe-tier for the rest of his career.

Ward's actual problem is that he doesn't find someone to fight for the big money he thinks he is worth making...
Ward is for boxing pundits -- no trash talking, no KO punching power, therefore no "popular entertainment"...

I'm from the States, and a big Ward fan, but he should travel to fight one of these guys again. I'd give him massive respect if he would.

Chris John can actually draw though

Yes, he registered a technical draw just last month...
And this Chris John actually fights opponents just yet.
