Besides the redundant argument that Solis is not professional due to his weight, why else would people not want to witness this "fat slob" rematch Vitali and see him get annihilated as most suggest would happen? It's clear as day their first meeting left many questions in the air. I'm intrigued for a rematch.
Why does this still come up? In another ten years, this will become a bit like the Cooper/Ali myth ie. complete horse**** (he wasn't down long, he only had one minute, his glove wasnt cut by Dundee etc etc) spread by people who have probably never seen the fight and just regurgitate false crap for some ******ed agenda.

Solis ****ed his knee because he got all but KTFO in the first round. He got caught bad, hurt bad and knocked down and while falling with a Judahesque chicken dance, he screwed his knee. If he was getting dropped and hurt that bad in the first round, he's not making it past many more.

He got beat, and hurt himself while getting ****ed up. There are no unanswered questions. He wasn't going to win.

It still comes up because there is no evidence that Solis WAS injured due to the knockdown. See what you are doing is strongly suggesting an opinion, yours and many others, is indeed fact which is wrong.

Your parallels to Ali-Cooper are not without merit, but I take issue with your ultimate analysis of Klitschko-Solis. I'm no fan of Odlanier, simply because I consider him a colossal waste of talent, but talented he is. I've watched the knockdown where Solis injured his knee many times at various speeds. He wasn't hurt by Vitali's grazing swipe to the top of the head. Not even Klitschko believed it, judging by his angry reaction.

Vitali may well have dispatched Odlanier before the final bell, but it would indeed have been interesting to see the elder Klitschko challenged for a change. At that time, Solis was the best opponent for either K-brother. I say this with a similar level of confidence I said Rigondeaux would be a challenge for Donaire.

you are either a lyer or a jackass. Watch the fight again with someone who isn't blind. Solis was actually catching Vitali BTW....

First of all Solis lost the one fight he lost due to injury. His weight never prevented him from winning a fight. That would be a fact.

This guy at 240 woud be a force to be reckoned with.
