No room for other promoters at Showtime unless they fight GBP fighters I can picture Lou working with GBP but not Zanfer. Showtime is giving me more fights for my buck then HBO is tbh. You're asking for showtime to work with these other promoters when in fact HBO won't work with GBP.

HBO told them no cause Martinez vs Chavez was a MUCH BETTER fight. So GB got pissed off and COMPLETELY migrated to Showtime, Haymon fighters and all.

I think the real problem Arum has with Golden Boy is that Golden Boy represents the "******" who became "the masters." Oscar, Bernard, and Floyd, are businessmen, which 'ol school fighters never were. They are boxers who have taken control of their destinies. 'Ol school promoters don't like that! They want their fighters to worry about fighting, and never worry about "the books."

I like the way things turned out you have HBO putting on good fights and you have Showtime putting on good fights. This whole thing is called Karma. HBO is used to taking the fighters from Showtime and putting them on HBO like Hatton,Ward, Calzaghe the list goes on and on. Well not anymore Showtime is not the one fight on the first Saturday of the Month network anymore get over it. I think you are a fool. Espinoza doing one hell of a job over there he's got the face of boxing fighting on his network.

Schafer and company are already laying the ground work for why they won't fight Canelo, and making out that the public whoop this up everytime some great comes along.... the reason why the fans, the public bring these names up????? IS because Floyd will NEVER fight the best of the best, IN THEIR PRIME, win, lose, or draw. He's always very strategic as to WHO, and WHEN he fights, named guys... He made Mosley & Cotto wait more than 10 years, well past their prime. He always found reason to blame Pacquiao, and still to this day he won't fight Manny, and now says, manny has business to finish with JMM & Bradley... also says Manny isn't as marketable. OH PLEASE!!! A Mayweather/Pacquiao fight would sell out in an HOUR. Manny already agreed to all the demans of Mayweather, and Floyd balked. Now he throws the Canelo name around. Listen, if Floyd wouldn't fight Pacquaio, if he wouldn't fight Sergio Martinez in Sergio's prime, he certainly will never fight Canelo, but he will spin things to protect the image control, and give you the look he'd fight Canelo. NEVER happen, and just because Canelo would stalk him down, take away his heart, then knock him out. So quit talking about Canelo.

I wouldn't fight Canelo either if I were Floyd, but for different reasons than you say. First if I'm the P4P champ, I don't care who u are, you are coming to my weight class which Canelo refuses. Second, Canelo is popular which leads to a possible robbery just like with Bradley/PAC, which is risky. Third, name someone Canelo actually beat to earn a shot with Floyd? Besides narrowing beating Trout, who else note worthy has Canelo beat to challenge Floyd? The two biggest matchups Canelo had didn't materialize, and that was a fight with Ortiz and Cotto whom both Floyd beat. You have no base to stake your claim that Canelo will KO Floyd who arguably has the best defense in all of boxing, especially when Canelo couldn't even KO Trout. Hell he couldn't KO Matt Hatton who moved up 2 divisions, so stop it with the nonsense.

Agreed Floyd cherry picks. But Manny is the king of catch weights and fighting guys coming off losses, ie Margarito, Mosley, Cotto, Clottley. Sergio is also turning into the next Lucian Bute with all the tomato cans he's fought lately.

Stop hating on Floyd and hugging Canelos nuts. Be honest, they all cherry pick and all have the same flaws. And yes, Canelo cherry picks too, especially when he won his JWW title by beating M Hatton who had to move up. Stop talking nonsense. Call fighters out as they are and give respect to fighters who've earned it.

I am always getting trolled thats funny. This is a business Canelo wanted to fight on sept and HBO wanted to put Chavez Jr agains't Martinez. what was GBP suppose to do. This proves how great of a boxer Floyd is, when people are begging him to fight a guy and give him 25lb advantage in order for him to have a chance at losing. Why should he give a damn about what people say about him that hate him. He should cater to those that appreciate his skills and pay for his ppvs not those that hate him.
He beats canelo and boxes his ears off with movement "he ran" or "canelo was too young" he boxes the crap out of matthyse "he ran" or "he was a jww" he ko pacman "pacman wasn't in his prime" excuse after excuse.

Pretty much this. His haters will always find an excuse. The reality is he's just too good to be beat at this point even at age 36, it's remarkable but again his haters will always hate no matter what.
