I think the real problem Arum has with Golden Boy is that Golden Boy represents the "******" who became "the masters." Oscar, Bernard, and Floyd, are businessmen, which 'ol school fighters never were. They are boxers who have taken control of their destinies. 'Ol school promoters don't like that! They want their fighters to worry about fighting, and never worry about "the books."

This proves how great of a boxer Floyd is, when people are begging him to fight a guy and give him 25lb advantage in order for him to have a chance at losing. Why should he give a damn about what people say about him that hate him. He should cater to those that appreciate his skills and pay for his ppvs not those that hate him.
