I think it's a bad move for Cotto to leave Diaz tbh.

Cotto reminds me of Khan well at least doesn't get put to sleep but in the respect that every single defeat or time he looks bad blames the trainer if Roach would have coached him for Mayweather or Marg he would have gotten face ****d. Diaz is a fkin Ph.D. literally i never expected nothing less than class from him.

But the man should do what he wants to if he feels is time for a change he should do as he wishes.

I don't care what people think, they didn't click and Cotto regressed as a fighter. He boxed better, yes, but that's never been what Cotto is about.

Also, if not Diaz who's he gonna go back to? his uncle? Dead atg trainer? Roach is fine. He never should've left his uncle in the first place.

As for Diaz's comments: Pedro is literally a gentleman and a scholar. He made some classy, perhaps even inadvisable, comments. Proclaiming that Roach is the best coach in the world doesn't exactly raise Diaz's stock. Nonetheless, Pedro is a stand-up guy.
Other trainers need to take a page out of the Diaz book of professionalism. I don't think Diaz dropped his stocked any as he also trains Rigondeaux who just beat a P4P champion in Donaire.

Cotto's best trainer was his uncle Evangelista but he had a bad temper. His uncle threw a brick threw his car window if I remember correctly.

Hmm I dont know his background, but is Diaz proven as an actual trainer? I mean he was good for the Margarito fight, but to me he's better suited as a side trainer or conditioning coach but not someone to work out strategy.
