That could be true, but sometimes when you wait to long you miss the boat and there has been too many examples of that happening (Floyd vs Pac... etc) and Canelo is looking to headline his first PPV and the only dance partners i would think are acceptable are Cotto, Floyd, Martinez or Chavez jr.

If that's true, Martinez's balls must be made of concrete because chavez looked like he had at least 15 pounds on martinez.

I think Chavez has shown more in one round than Canelo has in his entire career. Canelo is yet to face a truly elite boxer.

In a fight, I would put my bank account on Chavez jr stopping Canelo.

Btw, if Canelo and Floyd is a good fight regardless of the weigh difference....what makes Canleo and Chavez jr an unreasonable fight? Weight difference would be similar to Floyd-Canelo

so, if you want Floyd vs Canelo; logic indicates you want Chavez vs Canelo; both equally fair.

Sergio weighed in at 167 on the unofficial scale, Chavez refused to weigh-in but most people speculate he weighed between 181-185.

I've got Chavez steamrolling Canelo ala 'Margarito v Cotto I' if this fight ever happens; I can't see Canelo hurting or deterring Chavez and he can't run for 12 rounds. He gasses in a war of attrition and get's stopped...

                Chavez KO's Alvarez
this would be a fun fight to watch
Alvarez is usually the stronger guy, but he'd get bossed in this
love fights between 2 guys who can work the body
Chavez is just too damn big for Alvarez though, he'll take all his shots
Alvarez wears and gets taken out late if this one happens

I've read my fair share of truly laughable and outright terrible posts on this site, but this one absolutely takes the cake.

You do know Sergio has weighed less than that on fight night... he weighed 165 against Barker and 166 against Williams I. He also weighed 167 against Pavlik.

Chavez weighed 181 against Rubio, but he looked even bigger against Martinez; Lampley mentioned Chavez refused to weigh-in on the unofficial scale so chances are he was at or above 181.

Chavez comes in the ring in the 190's every single fight. Never gets tired, and Canelo couldnt hurt him.
