Aside from this being Top Rank vs Golden Boy it also wouldn't happen because there is no way Canelo would win, Chavez is just way too big. Even if Canelo jumped up to 160 Chavez would struggle to make weight they are talking about moving to 168... Canelo is a better fighter but there are weight classes for a reason.

That would be the biggest fight in Mexico and i am sure Bob would co promote with Golden boy if he knew his man would have a better then even chance of winning (just because of the size and chin factor in favor for his man) Chavez wants it and golden boy could make a catch weight at 157 to try to drain Chavez even more.

The fight would almost if not be a big as the Mayweather fight (which is not going to happen)

I am Mexican and i would actually like to see that fight more

I think Canelo's power will make Chavez Jr. modest in how much he throws.

Chavez took the best shots of Martinez who hits hard as hell. Canelo's power is unproven and he's a 54 lber. No way he hits harder than a proven 60lber. Martinez was crackin dudes and dropping them. Chavez was so big, he walked through the shots. Canelo would get rapped in 6 rounds. We have to remember, Canelo is a 4 round fighter. He's a Zab Judah type of fighter.
