He practically ripped up the boxing textbook and fought like he was drunk. I found him so entertaining to watch because he was so unpredictable, i feel he was a nightmare for any light welterweights our their. The guy got ripped off so many times though i kinda felt sorry for him cause he could of been good if he was maybe managed a little better and didn't step in against top guys on short notice. Take a look at this guy if you've never seen him he was so entertaining
Was Emanuel Augustus one of a kind...

I didn't like watching him. He was a clown. He fought better when he was not clowning and fought like a normal boxer. He was just an ok fighter but nothing special. He was pretty hard to hit clean and had a good chin. He was game but all that weird stuff made a mockery of good boxing. I think his clowning cost him fights he might have won if he had stuck to serious boxing. When he was fighting in a normal way he was pretty good and ok to watch.Comment

One of the most unique guys and styles in the sport. I just hope he did make a good living off of the sport. There should be a place to make a decent living for fighters like him.Comment

Strangely enough, I was looking him up yesterday and I noticed he has a fight scheduled for next month! The Drunken Master returns!

His unpredictability reminded me of Kirkland Laing. Both fighters never made the most out of their considerable abilities.Comment
