    -1 Champ per division
    -1 Sanctioning body
    -Less weight classes
    -Mandatory activity from champ
-1 legitimate drug testing agency involved in all fights
-Boxing is ran in the same manner as UFC as far as there being ONE major company that deals with ALL fights so you can't cherrypick or hide behind a promoter
-Running, clinching, elbows, forearms users get punished a lot more often

TEN weight divisions. I've had this idea for about 20 years now (sad bastard that I am).

The lightest weight under 50kg & the heaviest over 100kg - with eight divisions in between.

Obviously one champion at each weight but I'd also make a big deal about regional areas. For example you could have USA East, USA West, Mexico & Central America, South America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe etc etc.

This might help build up some healthy rivalries - all while aiming for the World Championship.

          Just one league
Stripped of title if refusal to face someone without legit. reason.
          A public ranking system
          drug policy

          Drop the unneeded weight classes.

Lightflyweight, superwelter? supermiddle? Superbantam? Why do these even exist?

          Keep it as
          Heavy
          Lightheavy
          MiddleWeight
          Welterweight
          Lightweight
          Bantamweight
          Featherweight
          Flyweight maybe another class

maybe Straw weight just for the name

I'd have 2 sanctioning organizations instead of 5 (merge WBC and IBF, and merge WBA, IBO, and WBO).

I'd have 10 weight divisions instead of 17. Something like this:

            Flyweight 110
            Bantamweight 120
            Featherweight 130
            Lightweight 140
            Welterweight 150
            Light middleweight 160
            Middleweight 170
            Light Heavyweight 180
            Heavyweight 200
            Super Heavyweight +200

(I'd rename cruiserweight "heavyweight" and rename heavyweight super-heavyweight).

            And I'd have same-day weigh-ins.

Eliminate the light/super divisions besides Super Middleweight & Super Featherweight, 1 champion per division, reigning champion must defend against the #1 contender once a year, and back to fight night weigh-ins.

Easy. Return to 8 weight classes. Maybe 9 with a Cruiser weight division. But this jnr/super system would go.

And maybe even prior to that, merge the main sanctioning bodies under 1 body - so we can have a proper, undisputed world champion. I like the fact that Ring magazine tries to bring credibility to belts by having a linear champion.

Call it something in French - like FIFA but for boxing. Federation International Le Box or something. (FBLB).

no weight divisions. no belts. tag teaming is allowed if the two smaller fighters weigh as much as the bigger guy. the winner gets to bone the losers wife, wives, or girlfriend.
