Not half as ****** as the guys still making these threads. What's so complicated:

Floyd offers Pac and Top Rank 40m flat fee for the biggest fight ever. Pac and TR split at least that much for either JMM 3 or 4, which weren't even highly anticipated.

Lol, Arum doesn't take the PPV. He gets a share of the PPV, but only a share, about 25% I believe. Floyd wanted ALL the PPV.

Just because Manny makes Arum a lot of money, doesn't mean he should allow Floyd to cheat him, or bully him into agreeing to give up his right to sharing the PPV.

The problem Manny has encountered is, his love of boxing and country outweighed his concern for money, while Floyd and Arum only care about money.

Haha..how ****** can people get just to defend the duck. They always make it appear as if their hero will be doing it for charity. The duck would have earned the equivalent of three fights. Easy fight easy money in just one fight. He could have retired early. If that isn't ****** I don't know what is. And now he's called a pu55y, a chicken, a duck, you name it, left and right by famous names like Foreman, Holyfield, Holmes, Jones, Corley, Chuvalo, Duran, SRL...

Where do you get all these dumb posters? They clearly not using their brains. Easy fight, easy money... he chose chicken. hehe...

floyd tried to pull a don king-esque scam.

give the fighter a good payday (or in this case their best ever) but still screw them royally.

apparently manny should have let floyd, a fellow FIGHTER, screw him. and these people will tell you all day how arum screws pac.

well, i dont remember arum screwing manny out of $60m from one single fight?

It's easy to second guess a decision in hindsight but at the time it wasn't smart.
The real dumb decision by Pacquiao is to continue to be enslaved to Bob Arum instead of going his own way.
It's ridiculous and makes me think Arum has some sort of dirt on Pacquiao to keep him subservient.
Nobody is this ******, to continue to let themselves be robbed like this.

Then when GBP calls Arum to try and make the fight happen finally, Arum ignores the calls. Arum is almost worse than King.

He's not that ******. He hired that company to audit his finances and earnings and Bob cut that shyt right off. Then Pacquiao gets into a lawsuit with the company because they weren't paid for their work.

You're talking about a totally different thing, a buyout. Who knows whether there's such a clause and how much it might be.

Regarding the bolded, there's only 2 fighters that have gone off on their own successfully, and both had promotional ambitions. Pac never cared to be a promoter

And arguably the most financially successful fighters ever. Cotto is doing well on his own too.

PAC should have snapped his hand off with that offer 40 mill is susbstansially more than PAC has ever made and more than he's likely to make for the rest of his career.

He had poor advisors around him! It's all good saying he deserves a percentage but that 40 was real money not projected potential earnings! Floyd will go on to earn more than that loads more fighting Canelo will pac ever even get half of that?
even if pac took that 40mil with blood test
floyd will come up with another demand to stop the fight

                      bcoz of one reason
                      floyd is a rich coward
