If Mayweather beats Canelo he will become the Lineal champ at 154, and then slides back into 147 to fight say Mattyhsse or Alexander means he will be controlling two divisions simultaneously. It's justifying for mayweather fans to outgun a small marquez, overall speed, size, age, skills! But they're running scared cause canelo is heavier! He's not better, younger yes! Not as experienced! I personally don't think canelo is ready for mayweather! But I don't see how the mayweather fans are justifying the fight not being made over weight! Mayweather is a 54 champ.. Claims to fight the best.. But all he really fight is flatfooted fighters with no head movement.. That's the only reason why cotto got to him.. Actual good foot work! And the only reason he won't fight manny, head and foot movement.. Straight rights won't pull him easily thru those type of fighters.. My guess is Kahn! Unless they somehow fool people into making them think Garcia or mathysse are viable opponents! This guys has always ducked decent opposition! And he will do it again! It's because he makes money, he can call the shots. Oscar did the same thing to him and had him come up in weight, just like JMM did. It's all about who holds the cards and its not Canelo. If Canelo wants to continue his easy path laid out to money and stardom....he has to abide by what Floyd wants. Floyd gets paid either way like you said, and to him its business. This is how business works, he doesn't fight for you....he fights for himself. He's on record saying it so accept it like a grown ass man and move on with your life.Comment
